An excerpt of our interview is below. ••• Harper’s Bazaar: This issue of Harper’s Bazaar is about sisterhood, what do you understand by that? ••• Cipriana: Sisterhood means a unified strength in numbers bonded by love. I always say the definition of a soulmate is not solely a romantic nature, but can also be referred to a friendship. Without sisterhood I would not be the woman I am today. Without sisterhood I would not have had the strength to face the daily traumatic moments of our childhood alone. I understand the power of sisterhood because we are a living testimony of what you can overcome, what you can achieve and your willingness to help others feel from what you felt from a true sisterhood.
