Day 15 of 🌱 Just Touch Grass 🌱 I decorated our front porch for fall, using stuff we already had and some pumpkins we picked up yesterday. This may seem like a strange “touching grass” activity but it got me outside (in the 90-degree heat), I had accountability to actually get this done (otherwise I would have found every excuse not to), and bonus: it was a practice in imperfection for me. We didn’t have an elaborate fall budget aaaaand let’s be honest — our front porch has seen better days, with chipped paint and cobwebs everywhere. So this is not as much inspiration for you (because look at that maple leaf idea that failed) as much as it is documenting our real-life fall decor, in all its budget-friendly, underwhelming glory.
