A rare photo post, because I think it’s sad to see them go. August. Magic light, long walks, my first sourdough in a while and our mighty oak standing tall. It’s still dry as a bone here, the sheep look like gazelle in a savannah rather than lush Dorset pasture. The goats have been basking in the sun and are living off bramble, docks and thistle. But the bees seem to be doing well and their honey is delicious, we have plums galore, the earliest blackberries I’ve ever known and my best year yet for tomatoes. Hope you’re all well and enjoying the long weekend xxx
