fun fact about Sunside: our illustrated logo (by the brilliant @juliaemiliani) is a flower from a Tulip Tree! aside from the adorable bloom we chose the ‘liriodendron tulipifera’ for a few reasons; being native to eastern North America was important as we’re all about keeping it local. There’s one located in queens that’s said to be the largest/oldest living organism in NYC (Alley Pond Park) measuring 155ft tall at the ripe age of almost 400yrs 🤯 The fast growing hardwood attracts a multitude of birds making it a super place for nesting & the flower is an important pollinator for our friends the bees 🐝🐤 @protostamps made us the illest stamp that we use in the shop while the glass is still hot.
