Heard I missed daughter’s day on socials. Thankfully everyday is daughter’s day!!! I heard something the other day... That people are unhappy because they are either prisoners of the past or thinking about the future. They are not present in the present, and the present is where everything begins. I am so guilty of this. Here’s to my sweet little girl for showing me how to celebrate and live in the present. This moment while dancing in the driveway in the rain, made me think of one of my favorite Buffett songs. “Keep your raft from the riverboat Fiction over fact always has my vote And wrinkles only go where there smiles have been” Here’s to proving to my kids I can live and love in the moment more. Giving it all to them, because right now they are my moment and they deserve my presence.
