We are facing an abortion access crisis. In the coming weeks, the packed Supreme Court will issue its final ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson’s Women Health Organization, a case that directly challenges Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision which established a constitutional right to abortion. If Roe is overturned, the impact will be swift and devastating. It will severely limit abortion access in at least 26 states and territories and exacerbate existing barriers, especially for people of color, individuals with low incomes, and immigrants.
