"This project really came together in a matter of days and right from the beginning we made the decision to go with 35mm. We wanted this film to feel real and authentic. It is crucial to feel all the little imperfections and happy accidents not only needed to be a part but to carry the film’s metaphors. This humane and honest feeling can only be captured on celluloid. We limited ourselves to only use a maximum of 3 rolls. The short film was directed by @moxut and @oscarpecher and was shot on 35mm 5219 and 5207. Starting in the mid-nineties, the protagonist Dian continuously dreamt about a life in New York City. To this day, he never lived or worked outside of Austria, and has never visited New York City. But all that wasn’t meant to be, matters just the same.
