Please join us this Thursday, July 14th, for a reading and open studio with Callie’s resident Jordan/Martin Hell. At 7pm, Jordan will read from his latest work of speculative fiction, JELLYBEAN, and writers Zoe Darsee and Calla Henkel will present new works. Jordan’s writing practice is the starting point for his artistic output; he externalizes his texts into visual works and companion exhibitions. His work touches upon sex, violence, and social deviance. Before and after the reading, visitors will be invited to visit Jordan’s studio at Callie’s, where a selection of recent and in-progress works will be on view.
