Well insta fam you see the outfit before everyone else! I’m wearing this lovely Pakistani shalwar kameez by @minahasanofficial to the @nationalbookfoundation medal ceremony tonight. I’m the first Pakistani-American woman to be a finalist for the NBA in Young People’s Literature. I knew from the second I dragged myself off the floor where I’d fallen in shock after getting the invite that I’d be wearing shalwar kameez! I feel very happy to be representing tonight.
