Have you or someone you know ever gone to Europe and said – “I ate dairy and gluten and didn’t feel bloated and icky like I do here back in the States!” It’s a common phenomenon, and there’s some real validity to it! Food in the U.S. can contain industrial chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, toxic fertilizers and more, which are often outlawed in European countries. Most European countries have more regulations around their agriculture practices. Essentially, this means that generally the wheat in the U.S. is NOT the same as the wheat you’d consume in Europe. It is typically less modified, sprayed and/or processed in Europe. Same goes with dairy.
