Surprise, surprise... pumpkin-spice beverages are trending. We’re hopping on board, but with a much healtheir version. This smoothie recipe from Amanda Carney, Director of Health Coaching at THE WELL, sneaks in veggies (cauliflower rice), protein in two forms (almond butter and vanilla powder) and the blood sugar-balancing power of cinnamon. Smoothies are a great way to pack in some extra nutrients without compromising flavor— try it and taste it for yourself! How are you incorporating pumpkin spice into your meals? Let us know below! Ingredients: + 1/2 cup pumpkin puree* + 1 heaping tbsp almond butter + 1/2 cup cauliflower rice + 1 small banana + 5 tbsp vanilla protein powder + 2 tbsp marine collagen powder (optional) + 1/2 cup coconut milk + Sprinkle of cinnamon + Handful of ice (depending on your consistency preference) Directions: + Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high until desired consistency is achieved. + Serve with an extra dash of cinnamon for taste! *Make sure you are using pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie mix (the cans look very similar!
