Thank you to everyone who joined us for Jordan Martin/Hell’s reading and open studio at Callie’s last week. Berlin-based artists Zoe Darsee, Luzie Meyer, and Calla Henkel read from new or forthcoming publications. Jordan had the audience laughing out loud as he read from “JELLYBEAN,” a new work of speculative fiction that follows a group of intergenerational queers navigating the Regan era. That evening, we opened Jordan’s studio to present sculptures, textiles, and videos he made during his residency. If you missed the event, Jordan’s studio presentation remains open to the public from Wednesday through Friday, July 27, 28, 29, from 4 to 7pm.
