Whenever I am gray blending with red or making a blonde red I always put NB into my zone 1 formulation. NB has a reflect of Red/Violet which equals neutral (warm + cool). So by adding the NB into a VIBRANT red formulation you are adding CONTROL. Plus NB still has red in it so you don’t need to freak out about making the zone 1 too brown in its deposit.
