A single caption will never be enough words to describe the radiance of God’s power and light in Ecuador.
How gracious God is that He would pick me to use for his kingdom. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to experience the beauty of the jungles of Ecuador. To travel thousands of miles across the globe to find people the same age as me are experiencing the same struggles, temptations, and hardships that we experience. Even before the beginning of creation, God handpicked each and every person I would encounter on this trip and placed us on a mission for His kingdom! Sharing tears, laughter, smiles, memories, and so much more made friendships that will last a lifetime. This trip was a powerful reminder that the God we serve is the same loving and forgiving God no matter where we are. Whether in the jungles of Ecuador or in Memphis, TN, the same God died for us on the cross and loves us unconditionally. And NOTHNG we could ever do will change that. Every single one of us thought we were giving a week of our summer to go and impact the lives of others through worship and service. Little did we know, we would all come back more impacted than anyone thought possible just by the smiles, selflessness, humbleness, and God’s light shining through strangers who would then become the hardest goodbyes. A foundation set on God will be behind every memory we have, story we’ll tell, and friendship made. He brought us together, Ecuadorian or American, and created relationships that were centered around Him. God did amazing work across the globe, and He can do it here.
Thank you God for using Ecuador to touch all of our lives in the most impactful way.
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” -Isaiah 6:8
