My Springs Round-Up:
STAY:
• Villa Royale: Stayed here this trip and absolutely loved it. Adults-only with the fabulous Del Rey restaurant, dog-friendly, and budget-friendly. Only cons: slamming doors in the morning and no housekeeping, but I’d definitely stay here again.
• Parker Palm Springs: If you’ve never been to Palm Springs, this is a must. Even if you don’t stay, at least go for brunch or drinks.
• Sparrows Lodge: Dying to stay here! It looks so charming, and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things.
• Holiday House: Owned by the same people as Sparrows Lodge. A hip, retro two-story motel in downtown Palm Springs.
• Colony Palms & L’Horizon: Both Steve Hermann hotels are swanky, stylish, and truly stunning.
FOOD/DRINK:
• Rooster and the Pig: Vietnamese, no reservations, and maybe the best food in Palm Springs (don’t miss the crispy beef noodles!).
• Gabinos Creperie: The best crepes, hands down. Grab the bbq chicken or smash burger one for lunch.
• Del Rey: Cozy tapas spot at Villa Royale. Order the Pan and a False Alarm cocktail! (My all time fave)
• Evening Citizen: A hidden speakeasy downtown on Arenas
SHOPPING:
• Market Market (my fave!)
• Mojave Flea
• The Webster
• Perez Rd (Cathedral City): Amazing vintage finds!
