If you had to pick one photo that perfectly describes your experience on public land what would it be? Mine would be this raw moment captured by @daysixoutdoors in which a combination of exhaustion, coffee, confusion, honey buns, and way too much time spent staring at my @onxhunt app still left me empty handed and searching for the final pieces to a puzzle I’d ultimately never solve. That feeling, the feeling of struggle, challenge and uncertainty is why I love it. I love that my time spent in the wilderness is full of failure. In a world where we often only show the successful end result, it’s important to remember the hard days. Remember that it doesn’t always come together perfectly. In my case, rarely does it come together perfectly.
