It is with great pleasure that I announce we are ready to share our film for @thecottonseries in honor of Juneteeth! Tickets to see our film are on sale now. In addition to the film's premiere, I will be sharing a new dance piece in progress called "Black Is The Color of Praise". It investigates the relationship that Black women have with prayers and what role it plays in helping Black women maintain and honor their humanity while nurturing their families, communities, and their sisterhood. This has been a subject I have witnessed and felt my whole life and I'm finally able to explore it through movement. The show is on June 20th at 7:30 pm.
