It’s taken me years to try to perfect my bob haircuts and still learning. Here are a few tips that have help 👇 Body position is crucial for cutting a bob. Have your client sit straight up, legs uncrossed and head slightly tilted forward. Establish a guide- I always have my client look in the mirror and show them how much they want cut off before we start the cut Use a fine tooth comb to cut your guide tilting clients head forward to remove any shelf at the occipital. I start by taking small sections. The first 2 sections I use my finger to press the hair on the neck When cutting the sides have your client turn their head to the side using your comb to guide your fingers.
