This was me in 1997.. 25 years ago.. I was fit and had a lot going for me..I’d just had a solo show at the South London gallery .. I was on the crest of a giant wave .. I was surfing and enjoying every moment.. I wonder if I’d have been so fearless if I’d known what was coming to me ? Today I’m sitting in the sun.. thinking of every moment when I could have changed my own course of history.
