I saw the “Just Be Yourselves” illustration on a tin somewhere the day before I left Korea. I didn’t want a tin, but I fell in love with the illustration immediately. I researched the illustrator Balloon Friends and saw they had a store in Seoul. on my last day, I took a bus to their store, in the rain, arriving an hour before van call. But they were closed, a man in the door told me. I flew home and looked them up. I contacted the owner KIMNEW, told him what had happened, and asked if they shipped internationally. They didn’t. But he remembered me walking into the store and offered to make an exception. They were so helpful, kind, and accommodating. When shipping the product, they told me, “Please keep in mind that you are the first official customer overseas. So we’re so happy.” All of these beautiful things arrived yesterday, and now I’m so happy! Thank you @balloonfriends_official for trusting me.
