Sometimes the desire to be lost again comes over me like a vapour. With growth into adulthood, responsibilities have claimed me, in their many, heavy coats. I go down to the shore in the morning, and I say oh, I am miserable - what should I do? And the sea says, in its lovely voice: Excuse me, I have work to do. - Mary Oliver I’ve had a few weeks of feeling like a failure with my photography, wondering if the magic was gone for me. I felt pretty down. This week, my close friend @daphne.cebek came over to visit from New York, so I took her to all my favourite spots - including this amazing castle, Margam Castle! Seeing Daphne *wow* at everything made me realise that yep, there’s still a lot to wow about! So I paid the photography fee, chucked on one of the ballgowns I keep in the back of my van, and let my mind and fingers play together with this edit. I had @missaniela’s amazing work in my head when I added the waves! Needless to say, I feel re-energised and re-inspired, and reminded that a ballgown and a castle is often the answer to all of my problems 😉😊 I have no idea what to title this image - any ideas or suggestions welcome! No idea what’s going on with the carousel - was meant to be a before and after! Will post some BTS on my stories if people want to see! ☺️
