Dear Friends, We are super excited to share with you our latest project at RAS: a site-specific installation that would connect the archives of Mozart’s oeuvre with the visitors of Mozarthaus Vienna through a unique immersive artwork. The piece is based on datasets comprising the audio recordings, staged operas, visual documents related to Mozart’s life story, and other recorded performances of the composer. This data universe forever existing and expanding in the latent space of Mozart’s world of imagination was used to train an artificial intelligence that dreamt structures, shapes, and color combinations based on audio-visual input.
