ABOUT SHOPPING! I often question myself in how I balance sharing information with you, having my platform as part of my business but not encouraging over consumerism. My goal with this platform + my blog is to help you choose well, by less, and waste less. What that means is I am not here to sell you stuff or to encourage you to just accumulate things especially if you don’t need them. With full transparency, I have affiliate links + work with brands as a content creator, it’s my business + a job I really enjoy - so it is in my interest to encourage you to my platforms. But we cannot shop our way out of the climate crisis + I emphasise that we should avoid simply accumulating things. I hope that the items I share with you can be used + loved for a long time, or in the case of consumable items ( like skincare) I hope that you love what you bought, you finish it then recycle, refill or upcycle the packaging. I hope to inspire you to shop consciously, so to consider each purchase and to consider whom you are making that purchase from.
