Photographer Jungang Zhang’s @k1973 first solo photography exhibition will be up until August 14th! Along with the publishing of the new book "Trance State", we curated the exhibition of the same name. Finding elements from Jungang’s work and editing the images based on the book, the exhibition features Jungang Zhang's works that he took randomly during long journeys or camping. The subjects frozen in these photographs witnessed the short pauses in his world as he lived between one shutter press and the other. For Jungang Zhang, photography is unresolved. It is the raving in his writing and a frenzied extreme sport. In his own words—"Photography is a pure trance."
