Ahhhh...6th grade. Going to school with the big kids, on the west side. I still remember my first locker, and where the band and choir rooms were. The first time I played for the school choir (Oh, Happy Day), first time switching classes - and being the teacher’s pet. Having to fight a lot because I was tiny. Oh! And playing at the high school football game in the winter! A simpler time.
