You know whats crazy... I’ve been creating shit for most of my life and only until it became a job where I’ve had to chase emails and basically beg people and companies to give me a chance only for them to offer next to nothing as payment is when it became super un-motivating. My dream is to create art with no boundaries, whether it’s a photo, video, gif, painting, clothing etc. etc. And for people to mess with it for what it is. I’m not an artist who’s trying to make deep meaningful projects, I’m simply trying to document my mind and what I see with the focus on aesthetics. 2 nights ago I minted my first ever NFT to @withfoundation and listed it a couple hours later. I had been grinding on Twitter and Discord for months trying to find a foundation invite which eventually happened thanks to @niallito. I had been putting off minting work for so long because I was scared no one was going to fw it, until 2 night ago where I was done waiting and pulled the trigger. 30 minutes after I listed my first piece it got a bid. This happened because an artist that’s inspired me so much in the NFT space, a guy called jakethedegen (he doesn’t have IG) retweeted a thread I put together and another crazy talented artist saw it. I’m currently going through my archive of photos and videos and reworking some pieces that I’ll be adding to the collection. Then I’ll be able to focus on different mediums. I love the glitch art scene in Web3 and I’m just trying to do it different by adding my own style. Going forward everything I create will have Web3 in mind, I’d probably advise you do the same.
