For #InternationalChoreographersDay, MOCA is taking a moment to highlight the enormous impact of Simone Forti’s Dance Constructions. First presented in 1960, these works have been highly influential in both dance and visual arts, and are performed around the world to this day. Consistent across Forti’s decades of choreography, dancing, drawing, and writing is her focus on movement. MOCA is honored to present a look at six decades of this work, including weekly in-gallery performances, in Simone Forti, opening January 15.
