In the last few days, I have received about 25 emails from school. Put together, they contain enough words for a short novel.⁠ ⁠ Reminding myself that getting everything perfect is not the goal. Because that goal involves me losing my mind and snapping at my kids.⁠ ⁠ Getting the essentials in place and being present for how they feel as they manage the transition is plenty. I am not a robot.
