“Nocturnal Future” was destined to be the first song you hear. You see, it actually started as a dream I had in February earlier this year. Nearly every single day from mid 2020 I had been writing and rewriting songs, so much time at home and at studios bringing this vision to life was pouring into my dreams as well. I found myself waking up and writing down lyrics or making voice notes of guitar parts so I wouldn’t forget them. And that is how “Nocturnal Future” began. I won’t spoil too much about the song or music video to come, but I think it’s an important song in The Word Alive’s discography both lyrically and musically. This album is the MOST important album to date for us, there is no question about that. But I feel we rose to the challenge and I hope you’ll embrace this new era, we’ll need your support more than ever. And unlike all dreams, this one will come alive tomorrow as we share the final product with you.
