My beautiful tiny baby Tuna (aka Tuna Girl, aka Little Fishcake, aka BaBa G) had to be put to sleep this afternoon. The vet discovered a tumour behind her eye, that was so big it had fractured her jaw. I’m completely heartbroken, and engulfed by the huge hole her tiny body leaves in my life. I’m so so glad I was able to love her, to rescue her (though perhaps, she rescued me more), and to have had such a wonderful best buddy in my life. We cuddled every damn night, and last night she spent the whole night, through to morning, on my chest. I think she knew it was her last night, and I’m so glad we spent every second of it comforting each other. I will miss you every day, Tuna Girl. I already feel your absence so heavily. I am so glad I got to be your best friend, and that you were loved so hard it hurts this much. 💔 Sleep tight baby girl x
