we had to say goodbye to Hemi this week 💔 he was my boyfriends childhood cat but moved with us to our new apartment a couple years ago so I had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a man who knew what he liked. Chipotle chicken, vanilla ice cream, a cool summer breeze, belly rubs, and the second step from the top of the stairs. I thought the hardest part would be letting him go but really it was the weeks leading up to it. Grieving him while he was still alive and having to make the impossible choice. I never met another cat like Hemi and doubt I will again. He was the most special 💚
