Sending a huge congrats to Sabrina Tamayo on the launch of her wine label: Ruby Blanca Wines! I had the pleasure of getting to know Sabrina on my recent trip to Sonoma in July. The morning was overcast, making for a perfect lighting scenario (seriously, don't ever be bummed if it's overcast on your photoshoot day!) A true maker in every sense of the word, Sabrina farmed the grapes, crafted the wine, and created the artwork that adorns her labels. If we'd had time, I would have loved to photograph her in the winery and making her art to (forgive me) paint a more complete picture of just who this awesome lady is. As it was, we only had time to photograph her at one of the vineyards she helps farm! I hope I get the opportunity to work with her again and am very excited to see what she crafts this year.
