My mom went into emergency last week for severe lower back pain to the point that she couldn’t even move. After first CT Scan we were told it was a tumour on her spine L5/S1 and inoperable. Not good news. . After another CT Scan we were told that she would need radiation every day this week in hopes to shrink the tumour and help ease the pain. She went for an also went for an MRI and we got some good news. Nothing seems to be in the lymphatic system or anywhere else. She does have a couple of small fractures in her pelvis. . She’s doing amazing and the pain has been manageable. We are all in good spirits and staying positive that moms will beat this as she’s a fighter just like my grandfather. . Thank you to everyone who has visited my mom, helped her with things at her home, brought her food, checked up on her. Thanks to Kathy for being by her side in the hospital, transports and doing all that research to help keep us all positive and in good spirits. .
