YESTERDAY This image means a great deal to me because it captured a moment of when my biggest purpose in running became clear. Up until this photo, I ran to get the most out of myself - I ran to win. Running for yourself is an important purpose. It allows you to understand your individual needs. But at the Boston Marathon in 2014, I naturally understood that this run wasn’t just about me. It was about us. And cutting the tape would be our victory. It has been 8 years since that moment and it has changed my outlook on life. I know that there will always be obstacles, challenges, setbacks and misunderstandings. But I also know that one person can change things for the better. Thanks to all who helped make this possible.
