Celebrated Australian singer Renée Geyer has died at the age of 69, following complications from hip surgery. Across five decades in music, the Melbourne-born Geyer - who was renowned for her vocal stylings and interpretations of jazz, soul and R&B - worked with a wide array of international stars like Chaka Khan, Neil Diamond and Sting, and she had a string of hits here in Australia, including 1981's ARIA top 5 song 'Say I Love You'. Renée is pictured here performing at the ARIA Hall of Fame Awards in 2005, the year she was inducted. Image: Martin Philbey/Redferns
