This is all I know, I think I’m risking it doing this post: I was working at the warehouse prepping for Chuck’smas. I had my phone in my hand, I somehow suspect that I might have pressed on something I shouldn’t/didn’t know. When I got time to get back to IG, I was logged out for “vi0lating t3rms”. After meta is introduced, all helplines are closed. Ways I tried to retrieve my account (I’m sorry that I cannot credit anyone for privacy reasons) : 1. I filled in the only forms available. I got the same robotic replies rejecting my request. 2. I approached a professional recommended by the people of IG and engaged him to retrieve my account but he wasn’t confident as it is not a hacking case. 3. A follower highly suspected that it was a hacking case. He taught me to try to “force” into my account. We failed. 4. A follower found a way to reach FB support as her helpline was still open. She pushed for an agent to help me. The internal team still decided that it’s violation and they are unable to disclose what violation nor they have the authority to restore my account. We failed. 5. A follower based in the US finally found the answer for me with her connection - intellectual property (intangible property that is the result of creativity, such as patents, copyrights, etc). This is my best connection but it’s a firm no for restoration. IG will find me if I use the same email address, same contact number or same phone. Crazy isn’t it? I’m racing against time to get a new phone before they find me and b@n me again :( The past week has been a turmoil for me. Although the end result is equally bad but I felt better with the answer, at least I have a closure that I’m not a bad person. (Continue in comment)
