lately I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time, maybe ever and I’ve learned a few things through the highs and lows in the waves 🌊 ... it’s not about something external, how i look, something i bought, a relationship, but rather the relationship I’ve built with myself over the past year or so. there’s something beautiful about waking up and choosing yourself, even when it hurts, especially when it’s hard. the good news is, the more you do it, the easier it gets. i look forward nights at home, time with myself, no more running from the silence. i like to call it by hibernation phase... reminds me of what a flight attendants says when you board a plane, “you have to put on your air mask before you can help others”. this is your little reminder to slow down, put on your air mask and come out as the best version of you, you deserve that 💗. when you find her, take care of her, be patient, be kind and nurture her until you genuinely love her. when you can do that, the validation from others becomes so much less important 🦋
