So proud of the @wearesonala team for having the first in person Warrior Awards. This organization spends every single day fighting for thr rights of songwriters. When SONA asked me to perform “Freedom” I intitally didn’t want to as I so rarely perform (2x in the last 13 years) but I then thought about how many songwriters I’d love to see perform songs they co-wrote and how this will be the show in which we are all celebrated. I was then happy to open this door for the community. Thank you to all the donors who made this night possible.
