Had to pause the vacation content to show you guys the pictures from my test shoot with @semaselection 👙 To be honest, I was scared shitless for this shoot! It’s one thing to see yourself and your body everyday but another thing to have it captured and almost see everything boiled down to one photo. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve seen so many changes to my body. Things that once were narrow are now wider. Things that were once perky now sit a little lower. Dimples, folds, scars, and all. Through all the changes, I showed myself love and compassion even on the days where I didn’t feel my best. Because in every shape and size, I am beautiful. But even beyond that, I know that my self worth and self love is not correlated to my appearance or the appearance of my body. While now (after lots of work and healing), I can stand confidently and say my body is beautiful, I know I am meant for so much more than beautiful.
