I’m obsessed with this picture of myself. I took it in Hawaii last week. I’m not wearing makeup, I’m dripping with ocean water and tanned from vacation- the snorkel mask is pushing down my brows and slightly exaggerating my wrinkles... I can’t believe I look like this. I’m on the down hill slope to 50 and I can see my age. I can see things changing. I can see the wrinkles and age spots and gray hair and I can see that my skin (and other things) are not as tight as they once were. But something about this picture literally made me cry. I am so happy when I see it. This picture captures me perfectly. I can’t explain completely how I feel when I see it. Other than happiness. 💗
