After the “circus” of controversy clouding the day, I loved that @louisvuitton #LVSS23 and artist Philippe Parreno took ppl into their own circus structure - a sort of gigantic artificial flower structure (also seen at Loewe - more about that show par excellence later) where @nicolasghesquiere blew things up - literally - not with stunts, but you know with REAL ideas ? That thing we’re supposedly here for ? - Magnify it and make it cartoonishly and explicitly clear, because otherwise it won’t feel concretely sufficient in our world today, where things often do need to be hyper-magnified and made obliviously obvs Zippers (the largest of their kind), tubular forms, straps, pleats and bows all enlarged to extreme proportions Like, is this “real” enough for you?
