Great hang today at Scarlett Sound Studio with GRAMMY award-winning artists, Chris Hayes (original lead guitarist/vocalist/songwriter of Huey Lewis and The News) and country superstar singer/songwriter, Bryan White.. Also had a great time with their super talented sons, Ben Hayes and Jackson White.. Most of all, for me personally, getting to watch Chris listening to his guitar work in a Dolby Atmos mix setting was as enjoyable for me as it was for him.. The first song I recorded in a studio was “Walking on a Thin Line” when I was 14 years old and seeing him listening to this exact solo that really inspired me to play guitar was priceless.. I’m so grateful for his wonderful friendship.. Bryan has been a dear friend for a long time and I’ve played many shows with him over the years dating back to 2007.. His son Jackson covered the Huey Lewis and The News song “If This Is it” recently on which I played the guitar solos on and for Chris to give Jackson, Bryan, and I his seal of approval meant so much to us.. Just a wonderful day all around.. ☺️❤️👍🏻🎸
