A harsh place softened by memory 🪞✨ my time here at these salt flats was incredibly inspiring but the heat, sun exposure, eeriness of being very alone in the middle of nowhere, and sharp salt crystals covering every surface was not easy. By the time I left my feet were completely cut up and my clothes covered in a thick rough salty coating. But looking back at these photos and even in my memories I see softness and dreamlike colors. Maybe the harshest most inhospitable places make the most dreamy otherworldly images because of their contrast with our normal comfy earthly surroundings.
