Young Eugenie would be in absolute disbelief about being invited to the special NYC screening of @lotronprime #theringsofpower alongside the cast themselves. The LOTR books were absolutely transformative for me and I spent many years reading them cover to cover repeatedly—they were a vehicle in which to escape reality that I so desperately needed. The new show does both the books and the films justice, with a more contemporary pace and insane CGI. I saw the first two episodes and was entirely riveting all two hours.
