Tales of Amber represents a truly high-quality interpretation of amber. The opening feels noticeably dry, dominated by iris and mineral warmth. It’s elegant but distant at first, almost calling for something softer and cozier. That comfort slowly arrives: a gentle touch of spice, a subtle sweetness (non-gourmand, to be clear!), and the balsamic depth that gives the fragrance real dimension. As it settles, the scent never turns into an opulent, resinous amber bomb. It keeps a refined dryness even when sweeter, deeper notes emerge. Gifted 🤍 🤍🤍🤍🤍 Jako velký milovník ambry – ať už pravé nebo syntetické – dávám vždy přednost jejímu hřejivému, nasládlému a bohatému pojetí před těmi slanějšími verzemi. Tales of Amber působí jako velmi kvalitní, moderní interpretace ambry. Úvod je pro mě suchý, s výraznou dávkou irisu a minerálního tónu. Je elegantní, ale zpočátku chladný – můj nos si žádá něco oblejšího a teplejšího. To přichází později – lehká dávka koření, jemná sladkost (ale rozhodně ne gurmánská) a balsamická hloubka dodávají vůni charakter. V dry down se vůně nikdy nepřeklopí do těžké, pryskyřičné sladkosti. Zůstává v ní jistá suchost i přes nástup teplejších a hlubších tónů.
