It’s so easy to walk into life thinking it will be a fairytale with unicorns, rainbows, and ‘happily ever afters’🦄🧚🏻. But life always has a different plan for us🤪. I think life is designed to teach us what we need to learn about ourselves. To hold up the mirror to show us how we can do better🪞, and sometimes he uses people for that. It wasn’t until I surrendered to His sovereignty that I met @Parkerwithdani. It wasn’t until I accepted that life wasn’t my will, and that I couldn’t design or manifest my ‘happily ever after’, that I learned what love was💞. You see, love is grace, patience, persistence, humility, forgiveness, acceptance, support, and a whole lotta hard work∞. Love is an action verb🏃🏻‍♀️. Love is a daily choice to show up to a job you chose. But in the end, it makes life a whole lot more interesting, funner, beautiful, and shows us the beauty of God’s grace✨. Parker is one of those people that EVERYONE likes🥰. He is pure, raw kindness💙. Despite aging like fine wine❤️‍🔥, he holds on to a childlike innocence for life😇. Finding him wasn’t just finding love. It was also finding a friend, a mentor, a teacher, and myself. He inspires me every day with his persistence and consistency. He teaches me every day how beautiful it is to forgive and let go of anger. He shows me every day how powerful gentleness is. But most importantly, he’s taught me and shows me what unconditional love is. What it means to never give up. What it means to keep showing up. What it means to love *through* life’s challenges and obstacles. So Happy Birthday to you baby💋!
