Happiness. . . So what is the secret to real happiness? Depending on who you ask, they will give you differing answers. Some people will say, “find the one”. But what is “the one”? Find someone smart? Someone funny? Someone intelligent. Someone who will challenge you or someone who gets along with you. Someone who will complete you. Someone who has it all... plus more. We sometimes put too much pressure not only on ourselves but also especially in finding the person we want to spend all our days with. We can be so focused on what we want from others and forget what we can offer to our relationship. Besides, relationship are a two way street, it matters just as much what we’re taking from it from what we’re providing to keep it going. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a formula to finding the special person. I don’t even know if there’s really such a thing as “the one”. All I know is, I found someone who loves me and makes me love everything about me when I finally looked at myself and truly started loving everything about me, even the parts I used to believe are unlovable. The one that will make you realize, that every part of you is worthy of all the love, especially the love you can give to yourself. I may not know the formula to real happiness but I know that once you find someone who will help you find yourself, you’ll never have to look for anything else anymore.
