Debut 2022 Look 4/12 Japanese Cotton Twill Strapless “Takoyaki” Cocktail Dress With Boned Peplum In Golden Banana Yellow, HP Potion Pink, and PS2 Blue ⚪️⚫️ For the better part of the last year, I worked in Little Tokyo next to a Takoyaki restaurant. Almost every week I would grab the delicious bites for lunch so their shape became engraved in my mind. Initially, the peplum was to closer resemble the eel sauce that typically coats the octopus pancake ball. Eventually, the idea was reworked into this look that I still lovingly refer to as the Takoyaki Dress.
