LMCC + Westfield World Trade Center present The Sun Seekers Induction on Saturday, Oct 15 at 3pm in the Oculus. Together with their ensemble cast of musicians, performers, and dancers, artists Amy Khoshbin and Jennifer Khoshbin share their sci-fi narrative of an immersive, alternate world where we detach from our cell phones, heal our bodies, and reconnect with the sun. Audience members are invited to participate in object-making and activating the senses with durational, technology-free somatic experiences. Passersby are converted into Sun Seekers through storytelling and engaging in the Seekers’ practices of bellowing, mumbling, hugging, rolling on the ground, and staring at clouds to look for portals and messages.
