Meet Mahshid! Mahshid joined The Savoy family in 2015 as a Commis Chef and following a brief hiatus, she’s back in The Savoy’s kitchen, whipping up magic as Assistant Pastry Chef. Prior to becoming a chef, Mahshid worked for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and ran a pastry business in her free-time. After receiving consistently great feedback, she decided to pursue a career in food, enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu and joined The Savoy. You may recognise her from Bake Off: The Professionals, where she made it to the quarter finals with colleague Eddie in 2018! Mahshid’s proudest moment at The Savoy is having her dish added to the banqueting menu when still a junior chef and it becoming the most requested dessert on the menu.
